This season I am in love with the idea of a crisp clean blazer paired with some white shorts so when I came across Rachel Zoe’s Spring 2012 line I fell in love with all things white. White never looked so fresh and modern with the lush pleating and floating fabrics in Zoe’s line. White dress, white pants, white shorts…I am getting so excited for spring.
It’s crazy being a mom but this simple striped mini is easy to pair with a sweater or tank and stretches enough to run after my daughter.

In a strong effort to instill a love of art and design in my daughter we do many art projects and, of course, I can’t throw any away. So I decided to collect them and make them into Valentine’s for all our friend and family. Who knew a little finger paint could spread so much love.
On our way to the taping of the Ellen Show we decided to stop for lunch in Burbank, California and ended up in this adorable gourmet café and marketplace. We actually had plans on going next door but after seeing the food and the perfectly designed décor, we were all instantly drawn into Olive and Thyme. We shared the very spicy and delicious Braised Shortrib Sandwhich with horseradish créme fraiche and carmelized onion on country sourdough, as well as the Chinese Chicken Salad. And we couldn’t resist trying some of their pretty desserts. From the embossed logo on the oval plates to the industrial lighting this yummy café is filled with lots of eye candy. We were all thrilled that we found such a great lunch spot to compliment our girls-day-out in LA.
Stacy’s talented and lovely friend Ina came down from LA and brought along with her one of her famous Ina Tutu’s that she designed. We are so in love with this Tutu that we decided a photoshoot was absolutely necessary. It’s every little girl’s dream to be a pretty-pretty balarina.
